The Museum of Fire is located in the former Penrith Power Station building. At 1 Museum Drive, Penrith.  On the corner of Castlereagh Rd



The entrance is located 1 km north of Panthers Entertainment Centre and within 50 m north of the railway underpass bridge. Easily identified by the Magnificantly displayed 1942 Dennis Fire Engine. The Dennis is mounted on a pole over 4 metres off the ground and surrounded by beautiful gardens.

During special events at the Museum, vehicle entry and parking is via the access road to the railway car park off Coreen Avenue.

How to get to The Museum Of Fire:
About 1 hour west of Sydney City.

By road:
From M4 Motorway, take the Mulgoa Rd (Rte 14/73) exit towards Penrith, then follow Tourist Drive #14 north along Mulgoa Rd & Castlereagh Rd; look for the entrance on the right hand side, just after the railway bridge. Look for the Fire Engine mounted on the Pole.

On Special Events Day:
Continue along Castlereagh Rd, turn right at the first roundabout into Coreen Ave. right again at the roundabout leading to the railway car park.

By train:
CityRail Penrith line from Wynyard/Central/Townhall OR Blue Mountains line from Sydney Terrminal. TO: Penrith Station; exit via the overhead walk-way to the north side car park, then just a short walk along the access road.
